Hello!

My name is Hailing and I have been drawing, crafting and creating ever since I can remember. My first career path was in the hospitality industry during my time living in London. After thirteen years, I moved back ‘up north’ to my home town of Newton Aycliffe, where I changed my career completely as a beautician specialising in nail art. This progressed to creating microbladed eyebrows and more recently, fine line tattoos. 

Florence and the Nightingale originally started as a baby clothing brand when my daughter was a baby. I just loved the business name so much that I knew I’d use it again someday! Illustration is something I’ve wanted to pursue for the last couple of years. I love drawing and there’s something really special about seeing the happiness on guests faces when they recognise themselves.
